Big Bus Tours is the largest operator of open-top sightseeing experiences in the world, with a presence in 18 cities across three continents.

Working in close collaboration with the UX team we were tasked with a total digital transformation of Big Bus Tours online customer journey. This included a complete re-design of their online booking platform and individual content pages for 18 cities providing further city, tour and local attraction information.

It was essential that the platform was fully responsive as they found engagement rapidly increasing via mobile devices. It also needed to be multi language and multi currency to cater for a global audience.

In the first few months of it’s launch Big Bus Tours enjoyed an increase of 24% in mobile traffic and 70% in mobile ticketing revenue.
